GOODProjects will be distributing 750 Brown Bag kits of COVID-19 Safety Supplies and Winter gear to protect GOODZone families of what many health experts are predicting as a “Dark Winter” as a result of the pandemic.
With the holiday season approaching, we want our GOODZone families to feel a sense of excitement and cheer, rather than stress. GOODProjects will be providing 300 GOODZone families with Gift Cards worth $150 each to use to purchase Turkeys and Thanksgiving essentials.
We do our best to practice discipline and respect of one’s self and others. What better way to put practice into reality than in a boxing match? Joined by community members, staff and even the GOODGuys, we look forward to an evening to remember!
Here at GOODProjects, we believe in the importance of staying active and healthy. We want to share that belief with Southwest in our first ever 5k race! Walk or run with us as we push ourselves both physically and mentally.

What better way to celebrate the 4 th anniversary of GOODCamps than with a Block Party? We want to take this time to reflect on the GOOD times we have had, but also look to the future, and kick off another season of GOODCamp!
GOODProjects Staff and volunteers will conduct a clean-up and beautification of our GOODZone neighborhoods. Everyone is entitled to a clean and safe neighborhood, and we can make that happen!
Join us as we get down and dirty at our first annual paintball tournament right here in Southwest.
Education goes beyond what happens in the classroom, and we want to give our students access to the opportunities that they may not have otherwise. High school students who reside in the GOODZone will be gifted prom dresses and beauty services through a Southwest Prom Sponsorship.
Celebrate Black History Month with us as we learn from our Saturday School students through song, dance, and more at our first annual talent show. Inspired by those who have left their mark on history, we will learn from those who will be the change we wish to see in the future.
Join us as we create personalized Valentine’s Day cards to share with the elderly residents of the GOODZone.
GOODProjects staff, Saturday School students, and volunteers will join the Student Conservation Association and National Park Service to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. We will be connecting the issues of social and environmental justice by mobilizing the next generation of community stewards to restore the Anacostia River and DC’s Urban Waterfront.
